Karasev: Zelensky’s majority in the new Rada will turn into a riot like Macron’s
Vladimir Zelensky’s party will not receive a majority in the new Verkhovna Rada; it is dangerous for Ukraine to give all power to the hands of the new president’s entourage.
Kiev political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There’s still time, a month and a half. I think that with Servant of the People it’s not so simple, they will lose a little, they won’t be able to achieve a mono-party majority. It will be 30%, but not 48%,” Karasev said.
He predicts that in the new Rada it will be necessary to create a coalition, and, in the interests of the West, an alliance between Zelensky’s party and the project of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.
“Servant of the People” plus “Fatherland”. This might be an option. But the Soros project is for “Voice” and “Servant of the People”, Vakarchuk,” says Karasev.
“Do you know what the Soros version will be? It’s like this: land, then privatization, privatization is so serious, then a gas pipeline, or they can help us agree with the Russians on the gas transportation system,” the expert added.
Karasev believes that Servant of the People’s claims to a one-party majority pose a threat to Ukraine.
“Do they have a party? To be a mono-party, you must first have a real party, do they have a structure, some kind of organization or not? ...We understand perfectly well that this is not a party in this sense, that it is just a group of supporters... A party is one thing, but a faction is another,” he said.
“God forbid, if there is a monoparty. Wait, then what, all the power will be in the hands of an inexperienced team that is rushing to the stage? So what should we do then? And with which our Western partners and our enemies will hide behind when they make decisions, when they come to an agreement with him, and then - once, they made: “Democracy? Democracy. Do you have a majority? Eat". And there they will agree about us. I say again, you can create a mono-party, Macron also created a mono-party, that’s how he got the vests. We will also have vests, if so,” summed up Vadim Karasev.
