Has Karasev come to his senses in Moscow? – “Ukraine has never been a colony of Russia”
Ukraine has never been a colony of Russia - a republic that creates rockets and launches spacecraft into space cannot be a colony. Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev, as you know, also often attends talk shows in Moscow, stated this on TV channel 112, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Ukraine has become much more like a colony over the years of independence, and especially in the last five-year period.
“They don’t build space rocket colonies. Here, Ukraine built space rockets, built its own planes, built its own cars. It was not a colony, we were an empire-building nation.
Yes, the Russian Empire. But without Ukraine there would be no Russian Empire, and by the way, no Soviet Union without Ukraine. Because Ukraine collapsed the Soviet Union.
We are not a colony in the classic version, when there is a metropolis, and the colony is turned into some kind of raw material appendage. And the fact that over these 30 years, and especially in recent years, we have turned into a raw material appendage, this is a more real colonization than what we had,” Karasev said.
