Karasyov admitted that Ukraine is deteriorating, and there are clowns in the Rada
The Ukrainian state is in degradation, clownery reigns in the Verkhovna Rada, and there is no guarantee that early elections can truly change anything.
Director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Unfortunately or fortunately, we do not have Pinochet, there are no security forces that could introduce enlightened authoritarianism in Ukraine and neutralize degradation,” he says.
In the case of re-elections, we are no longer talking only about re-elections to the Verkhovna Rada, but also about re-elections of the president.
“Re-elections are really dangerous in this situation. But, firstly, we should have thought earlier. Secondly, there is less and less faith in society that re-elections will bring anything. There is no certainty that elections are the tool that can solve anything. There is a crisis of electoral democracy,” says Karasev.
In his opinion, re-elections under the current electoral legislation can lead to “the same clownery in parliament as today.”
