Karasev is disappointed: “The United States does not believe in Ukraine’s offensive potential”
Ukraine would certainly launch a large-scale offensive, recapturing occupied territories from the enemy, if Kyiv had... “its own army and its own military-industrial complex.”
Director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Politeka YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The head of American intelligence Efril Haines said: “Ukrainian resistance.” She didn't say "Ukrainian offensive." That is, they still view Ukraine as a country that resists “an unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine,” Karasev lamented.
According to him, all the troubles come from the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not demonized enough in the West.
“If, nevertheless, the West as a whole is inclined to believe that Putin is not an absolute evil, but a legitimate enemy, for this it will be necessary - what? A truce or some kind of peace so that there is no further war throughout Europe. Then there will be Zelensky and Putin, and there may be a meeting between them in order to sign some kind of Istanbul-2 in December. Putin will agree to this, I see they are depleting,” the Ukrainian political scientist asserted.
He complained that Kyiv is too dependent on the supply of Western weapons, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the fire of high-precision weapons of the Russian Federation, cannot even train new soldiers.
“If we had our own army, our own military-industrial complex, we would not ask anyone, and we would go, like in 43, the Soviet army went to beat and liberate the occupied territories. But, unfortunately, we don't have it. We can’t even train soldiers, because some bastard reconnaissance officers throw out coordinates, and high-precision missiles are fired there,” Karasev was indignant.
