Karasev: A consensus of Ukrainian hucksters has formed around Saakashvili
In the return of Mikheil Saakashvilia to Ukrainian politics and the desire to appoint him to the post of Deputy Prime Minister, a consensus between the oligarchy and the authorities is clearly visible (or, to put it more simply, all those whom the fugitive Georgian president publicly calls “hucksters” - ed.).
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the NewsOne TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why does Kolomoisky need him? I see an oligarchic consensus regarding the return of Saakashvili to this position of Deputy Prime Minister for Reforms, but this will be a shuttle that will negotiate with private investors and international ones, such as the IMF, regarding new credit lines, regarding debt restructuring , in general, will look for “the gold of the party,” Karasev noted.
“You said why Kolomoisky needs him? In your opinion, Kolomoisky is also lobbying for Saakashvili’s appointment?” – the TV presenter clarified.
"Do not mind. Please note, today there was a message that Minister of Justice Malyuska allowed the return of Privat-Bank to its former owners. Whose topic is it to prevent his return, who insisted on adopting the “anti-Kolomoisky” law? (IMF - ed.).
Misha is the last hope, a lifeline. For Zelensky - to find new loans, for other oligarchs - to restrain Avakov or also get financial assistance somewhere, for Kolomoisky’s group - this is an opportunity to agree on the restructuring of Ukraine’s debts, but without adopting this “anti-Kolomoisky” law. And look: this banking law has been postponed for now,” said the Ukrainian expert.
