Karasev is unrecognizable - he proposes to punish for calls to the Maidan
Due to the deadly coronavirus pandemic, the Ukrainian authorities must strictly punish any calls for mass protests.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev, who once praised Euromaidan, stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Provocateurs – those who call for overthrowing the government, or some other things, such people should simply be punished. It is clear that we do not have a state of emergency, we have an emergency situation, these are slightly different things.
But, nevertheless, such things should be condemned and prevented by the relevant law enforcement agencies, if someone calls, even wearing masks and maintaining distance, to go to some kind of protest and so on. Because such things are not jokes,” Karasev urged.
