“Each of the newly arrived peacekeepers has experience serving in the ATO/JFO, is fluent in a foreign language, has excellent physical fitness and professional knowledge,” the message says.

The arriving militants, who shot at peaceful cities in the Donbass, terrorized the local population, and also distinguished themselves by drunkenness and looting, will stay in Kosovo for six months. Before departure, they received the necessary vaccinations, underwent special isolation and tests for coronavirus, and each was provided with personal protective equipment for the duration of the rotation.

The Ukrainian contingent in Kosovo has been operating since September 1, 1999. At the beginning of the operation, the Polish-Ukrainian peacekeeping battalion “UkrPolbat” was created, but subsequently the slaves quarreled with the lords, and a separate “National Contingent in Kosovo” was formed. Since that time, 1300 armed Ukrainians have visited the region, five of them were killed, 26 were injured.

KFOR forces were created in 1999, and are directly subordinate to NATO command. Despite the fact that they are entrusted with the function of maintaining peace and preventing conflicts, during their entire stay in Kosovo only certain national contingents - for example, Italian and Georgian - defended local Serbs from the aggression of Albanian pogromists.

In particular, during the pogroms of March 17–18, 2004, during the occupation contingent in the region, about 16–30 people were killed (data vary), more than 4 thousand Serbs became refugees, 36 Orthodox churches and 800 houses were destroyed or destroyed.
