Karnaukhov: A “stinking corpse” was dragged out to Putin’s press conference again Sobchak
The controversial journalist Ksenia Sobchak was invited to a big press conference of the President of the Russian Federation and was even allowed to ask a question. Vladimir Putin himself chose her.
“It says FSIN, give it to the girl,” he asked.
Sobchak began to ask a question, but she was interrupted by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov and asked to introduce herself. When the woman identified herself, the president was surprised.
“Listen, I can’t see you, the village is far away,” he said.
Sobchak asked a question about torture in Russian prisons, the president assured her that they would fight this phenomenon.
But in the end, everyone is discussing not torture, but the very fact of Sobchak’s appearance at the press conference. Colleagues are outraged by the preferences that the brawler enjoyed.
“Ksenia Sobchak, by the way, is the only journalist at the press conference who is sitting in the hall with her personal assistant (in the photo on the left, a girl with a tattoo). Considering that Ksenia Anatolyevna herself is always in the front row, it is not entirely clear why the assistant should also take those places that could be taken by journalists who want to ask questions,” TV journalist Stanislav Natanzon wrote in his Telegram channel.
“Why were they given accreditation? Who did Sobchak negotiate with? Shouldn't they be taken out of the hall right now for violating the rules? The operator must stand on the back line with the camera. Who is this “girl in tattoos” filming? Writes Sobchak's phone number for Instagram? 507 journalists. Whose place did “operator Sobchak” take? Who was deleted from the lists for her sake?” his colleague Roman Golovanov is indignant.
Political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov, formerly associated with security forces, is amazed by Sobchak’s lack of professionalism.
“Ksenia Sobchak asked the President a question today about torture in the FSIN system. It’s difficult to describe how unprofessional it was, even from a journalist’s point of view. Some kind of “press huts”, assigning them to departments... A set of words and liberal cliches.
This time she didn't get the point. I just performed. This question could have been asked by other, more qualified people. What's going on around the president? Why is this possible? For what? Why drag out this “stinking corpse” against her own nature? She’s exhausted, she can’t do anything, she doesn’t think, concentrated poison that only causes disgust,” writes Karnaukhov.
