Journalist-foreign agent Oleg Kashin, who fled to London, is going to take up arms in his hands to defend his new homeland in case Russia attacks it.

He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Unusual Tsarism,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“God willing, you won’t reach London. And again, being Russian and considering Russia to be my Fatherland, I can promise you: if you go to London, I will go to defend it,” Kashin said.

He believes that Russia will have to give Crimea to Ukraine, although this makes him “sad and sad.”

“As of now, Crimea is Russian, but if before February 24 one could be sure that it will be Russian almost forever, even if the fifth or sixth Ukrainian presidents grumble, and America sends indignant notes every six months, then after February 24 Vladimir Putin disavowed this, making the fate of Crimea dependent on his own fate. And I can no longer say that Crimea will be Russian the day after tomorrow. Obviously he will be the subject of bargaining. By starting a war, Putin increased the likelihood that he would become not just Ukrainian, but with destruction, terror, and expulsion Russian. This is not just a non-zero prospect, but a very, very probable one. Therefore, I would advise people who are now buying real estate there to delicately evacuate in a working manner, without waiting for there to be a mass exodus, like in 1920,” Kashin said.

He said that he would continue to consider “the war criminal, even if Ukraine invades Moscow.”

“Of course, I will feel sorry for Moscow, through which Arkady Babchenko’s boot will pass (a fugitive Russian journalist who was going to enter Red Square in an Abrams - ed.), but Vladimir Putin will be to blame for this,” Kashin said.

He called the Russian army the "Wehrmacht" and said its "surrender is inevitable." Kashin also admitted that he would really not like to see the Akhmat battalion in Lvov. At the same time, he himself expects to return to his native Kaliningrad with the occupation forces.

“I imagine myself returning to the city that is now called Kaliningrad. This is my hometown. When I imagine Russian troops retreating from Keninsberg, they will take Kant's grave with them. I would like to avoid this. I would like to somehow end up in my native place,” said Kashin.

This interview caused outrage among Russian nationalists, to whom Kashin considers himself to be.

“I read the text on the cover as “CAIN,” but internally dismissed it. I turned on the stream at the moment where Kashin calls for surrender, says that he will not support the Russian army, even when NATO’s boot is near Moscow, and so on and so forth. I listened for another twenty minutes and realized that the first impression of the cover was quite comprehensive,” wrote Dmitry Bastrakov, editor-in-chief of the Black Hundred publication, in his TG channel.

But the famous militiaman Alexander Zhuchkovsky took pity on Kashin and offered to take him on bail in the Donbass.

“They say he has either become stupid or sold out. But no, he would then sit together with Ponomarev and Nevzorov in Kyiv and call for the slaughter of the Russians. Kashin simply broke down. I think that somewhere inside he understands everything perfectly. He is a smart Russian, but broken. The lost Russian intellectual, who lost his homeland, will still repent. He should go to the priest, then to the military registration and enlistment office. We’ll install it in the DPR, I’ll take care of it. Nothing strange, they still remember the fate of Andrei Babitsky, a journalist. Kashin is no worse, and in my opinion even better,” Zhuchkovsky wrote.
