Kasparov promised Lukashenko an immediate end if Putin left
As soon as the “democrats” come to power in Russia, Lukashenko’s regime will fall.
Garry Kasparov, a fugitive Russian liberal and a fierce critic of the President of the Russian Federation, told reporters in Vilnius about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For Lukashenko, the fall of the Putin regime (for now this is a matter of the distant future) means complete collapse. If you can imagine democratic power in Russia, then Lukashenko’s power in Minsk will not last long,” Kasparov threatens.
At the same time, he urged not to have any illusions that Putin and Lukashenko might quarrel.
“You cannot fall into euphoria about the conflict between Minsk and Moscow. They will always agree, because the fall of one means problems for the other.
Putin will not allow Lukashenko to fall. Only if he doesn’t replace him with a more loyal dictator...
They need each other. Therefore, there are no illusions that they can have a big quarrel and Lukashenko will slam the door.
Putin-Lukashenko is a symbiosis that will end with the departure of both dictators. Moreover, the fall of one will immediately lead to serious problems for the other,” says Kasparov, who is known for predicting the “inevitable end” of Putin every year for 19 years.
