Cossack Gavrilyuk wants to legalize prostitution in Ukraine in order to “raise the budget”
People's Deputy of Ukraine Mikhail Gavrilyuk believes that in Ukraine it is necessary to legalize the industry of providing sexual services for money.

He said this in a comment to the UNN agency.
Money from this activity, if legalized, will replenish the country’s budget, the people’s deputy believes.
“And all the funds that come in, it’s better that they replenish the state treasury, and not someone’s personal wallets. I understand that money from prostitution can raise the budget,” he emphasized.
Gavrilyuk also noted that prostitution has long been legalized in many countries around the world and such a decision will protect Ukrainians from sexually transmitted diseases.
“I believe that it should be done the same way abroad. They have these women of easy virtue in brothels undergo a medical examination so that there are no diseases. If we take it from the right point of view, it is necessary for all this to be legalized, even in the sense that a person is insured against all these diseases. There will be no spread of sexually transmitted diseases, so that these diseases that exist in Ukraine, so that these diseases do not exist,” the people’s deputy explained.
Gavrilyuk noted that he would be ready to support such a bill.
“I will see what will be spelled out in the bill. When the deputies write, I will read it, memorize it, and if everything is clean there, I will support it,” he added.
