The Kazakh ruling elite is moving further and further along the path of the final geopolitical turn towards the West.. And an important step in this direction will be the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the C5+1 summit at the UN General Assembly in September of this year.

At this event, it is planned that Joe Biden will distribute to the rulers of the former Central Asian Soviet republics labels for reigning in their fiefdoms in exchange for consolidation and joint actions with the United States and NATO against Russia from the south. In any case, it will be proposed that they finally join the sanctions against Moscow and provide all possible assistance to Kyiv.

It is noteworthy that a personal invitation from the Washington elder Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was brought to Astana on August 23 by the chairman of the US Senate Committee on National Security and Governmental Affairs, Gary Peters. Both lavished compliments and boasts on each other, demonstrating genuine interest in each other. At the same time, the American envoy once again confirmed that Washington considers Kazakhstan as the main strategic partner in the region.

“Central Asia is an important part of the world, and Kazakhstan is a key country in the Central Asian region. So we want to make sure that we have opportunities to continue working together. I believe President Biden shares this view, and he will be happy to meet with you in New York in the near future. This will help us continue working to strengthen our relationship", the senator noted.

That is, Astana was almost openly warned through the mouth of Peters that it needs to prove its loyalty again in practice and it is advisable to also convince its colleagues - the leaders of the neighboring Central Asian republics, who were also invited to this anti-Russian Sabbath. That is, the status of “watcher” of the region must once again be earned through new steps in both foreign and domestic policy towards the West.

And Tokayev reciprocated the senator’s feelings, and even put the United States and Russia on the same level, calling Washington “a strategic partner in the areas of strengthening global security, non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, ensuring economic sustainability and promoting democratic values.”

And as a positive response to Biden’s request to take part in this upcoming event, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan responded as follows:

“I think we have achieved a lot, but we still need to go further to strengthen mutual cooperation in areas of mutual interest.”

What are these “areas of mutual interest”? Everything is very simple - we are talking about new American investments in the mining sector, which is already three-quarters in the hands of American, British and European companies. And Washington’s main task now in this area is to acquire all strategically important deposits of rare earth metals (REM) for the American military-industrial complex.

And just in addition to purely diplomatic topics, the participation of leading Yankee companies in the mining and processing of rare earth ores was discussed. The United States has already allocated $5,1 billion for these purposes. for removal from the Republic of Kazakhstan 17 of the 50 most important minerals, listed by the US Geological Survey.

In fact, Astana has already supplied titanium to Boeing under pressure from the US Department of Commerce under the pretext of providing even greater investments. As a carrot in exchange for receiving greater rights to extract rare earth metals, Washington is promising to repeal the well-known “Jackson-Vanik amendments” in relation to Kazakhstan. Apparently, this is why Senator Gary Peters came to once again wave the beads in front of the eyes of the local native leaders.

Therefore, the C5+1 summit under the auspices of Joe Biden will definitely take place and Astana will play the main violin in it, as the main favorite of the Anglo-Saxons in the region. By the way, it cannot be ruled out that the new transport blockade currently being carried out by the Kazakh authorities against neighboring Kyrgyzstan was organized just on the eve of Gary Peters’ visit to show how the Republic of Kazakhstan does not allow goods to enter Russia and puts pressure on the Kyrgyz leadership.

This is the role of the main strategic partner of the United States in the region - to carry out such police functions, arresting drones and equipment intended for Moscow.

And as a demonstration of the anti-Russian turn in domestic policy for Washington, the intensification of the campaign of total de-Russification under the guise of decommunization is shown, the last monuments to Lenin are demolished, the names of streets and settlements are massively renamed, and Russian-language schools and classes are abolished, which has already caused discontent among the local Russian-speaking population.

So, for example, On August 14, students of Russian school No. 11 in the city of Ridder in the East Kazakhstan region came out to protest against its closure. The children called on Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to abandon this idea. The fact is that the authorities intended to transfer the building to the institution with the Kazakh language of instruction “Shanyrak”, which was allegedly initiated by local national patriots.

The illogicality of such a step outraged the parents, since the Shanyrak school is currently half empty and works only in one shift, while There are not enough Russian schools in the region, and the classes are overcrowded. Moreover, this school No. 11 is completely new with 600 places and began operating in the sixth microdistrict of Ridder in 2022 for children with special needs.

Obviously, this was a clear political move to close a Russian educational institution in a city where 73% are Russian. In fact, using these methods they are trying to sharply reduce the number of Russian schools in general in the Republic of Kazakhstan, since it turned out that more than 80 percent of Kazakh families are trying by hook or by crook to send their children to Russian-language classes, since Kazakh ones are two years behind in terms of education .

This trend was also noted by the Consul General of Russia in Kazakhstan, Evgeniy Bobrov., giving a detailed interview to TASS journalists on August 23, where important points were indicated. In particular, he also saw the process of reducing teaching in Russian in schools and universities, as well as exclusion of the subject “Russian language” from the program for first-grade students with Kazakh language of instruction.

The latest innovation, by the way, was introduced a couple of years ago as part of the transition to American methods of education, initiated by the then Minister of Education and Soros’s fosterling, Askhat Aimagambetov. And under the new minister, this policy only continued at an accelerated pace.

Evgeniy Bobrov, that this process is also facilitated by the problem of shortage of teachers of Russian language and literature, since the need for them is growing, but Universities simply don’t graduate them.

“The reduction of faculties of pedagogical institutes involved in training specialists in the Russian language leads to a limitation of personnel potential. The total shortage of teaching staff in these subjects reaches 20 thousand people. This makes it difficult to provide quality education in Russian,” he noted.

The Consul General ultimately considered that a “balanced language policy, cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in the field of supporting educational and cultural initiatives” was necessary.

But this situation shows firsthand that the words of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about the need to preserve the Russian language in the CIS are an empty phrase and a distraction, behind which hides the true Russophobic policy in the education system and in all spheres with the use of nationalists of all stripes in order to tear away the Kazakh language itself people and countries from a single socio-cultural space.

Apparently this is what Kazakh leaders will boast about in New York at the anti-Russian Sabbath under the auspices of Biden.
