Many missed or underestimated the news about the adoption by the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan of amendments to the laws regulating issues of visual information, approved in the lower house of the Mazhilis. They establish the requirements for the mandatory use of the Kazakh language in advertising, price tags, price lists, signs and names. But this is only a stage in the final de-Russification of the country.

All that remains is for the president to sign the document, and the process will be launched. That is, the goal of the “language patrols”, which were created by the authorities to push through the idea of lowering the official status of the Russian language and ousting it from public space, will be realized. But the situation is further complicated by the fact that new signs throughout the country will be written in the Latin version of the Kazakh language, of which there are already at least two and none have yet been finally adopted. But it's already a matter of time.

What’s even more depressing is that onomasts, or officials responsible for language policy in the government, have already sent representatives to the regions who are working on the issues of renaming settlements and the remaining old street names, based on the “current list of historical figures.”

That is, we are no longer just talking about replacing signs and changing the names of cafes, shops and restaurants, but about the total de-Russification of the entire toponymy of the Republic of Kazakhstan!

In fact, under the guise of the law, the process of “Ukrainization” is accelerated, on the one hand, and, on the other, the basis is created for transferring the country and society to a completely different socio-cultural landscape, which has nothing in common with Russia and our shared history. Accordingly, all the assurances of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that the Russian language will not be infringed and its official status will be preserved were initially a lie to appease the Kremlin.

I also believe, as I have written about more than once, that the summer proposals by Nazarbayev and Tokayev on the participation of Sberbank in the digitalization of the country, as well as on the construction of a nuclear power plant by Rosatom in the south of the republic, were a well-thought-out cover operation or a maneuver to distract and lull the vigilance of Moscow. Meanwhile, Nur-Sultan (Tselinograd) was in full swing preparing with the Turks for a landmark summit in Istanbul on the final establishment of the anti-Russian Organization of Turkic States.

Now the creation of a new block is already a fait accompli, so the processes have noticeably accelerated. Interestingly, in this regard, an agent of American influence and Mazhilis deputy from the ruling Nur Otan party, Berik Abdygaliuly, is again brought onto the stage, who is a landmark figure in the state commission for final rehabilitation and proposed recognizing the so-called “Holodomor” and acquitting the participants of the Turkestan Legion and Muslim SS units.

Member of the ruling party Berik Abdygaliuly.

In this matter of amendments to the laws on visual information, he was instructed to represent and defend. According to the scenario, he must take the full blow of criticism, while the true inspirers and organizers of de-Russification in the person of Nursultan Nazarbayev, Krymbek Kusherbaev and Marat Tazhin will remain in the shadows.

It is already clear to everyone that a course has been taken towards the formation of a regime of linguistic and ethnic segregation, or simply apartheid, which, by the way, will affect both Russians and Kazakhs. After all, unbearable conditions will be created not only for ethnic Russians, but also for everyone who considers the Russian language and culture their own. In the foreseeable future, this regime, as in the Baltic states, will be implemented through state coercion, through the education system, where Soros’s fosterling Askhat Aimagambetov is already implementing reforms according to American patterns through the closure of Russian schools, as well as propaganda in the media and pressure from nationalists who were given the green light.

At the same time, an active campaign in support of the total renaming of streets and cities, as well as the Latinization of the Kazakh language, is being promoted by the newly-minted pan-Turkic and at the same time pro-Western “opposition” party “El Tiregi”, which is allowed to hold legal anti-Russian rallies in Nur-Sultan and Almaty. This is not at all accidental, since new national democrats are already coming to the surface, focused on supporting Turkic integration, neo-Ottomanism and pan-Islamism.

And here it is important to touch upon a rather important topic - in fact, the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan are no longer pursuing a policy of Kazakhization, but of Turkification. Since Latinization is intended to move the Kazakh ethnic group from Russian to the Turkic world of the Ottoman model. Moreover, at the Istanbul summit of the Organization of Turkic States, it was the Turkish language of the Oguz group that was recognized as a reference model, and all participating countries will be forced to reform their alphabet. And as you know, the Kazakh language belongs to a completely different group - Kipchak.

That is, there is no talk of any development of the Kazakh language, since this political decision is subordinated to the goal of “European integration” of Kazakhstan through an alliance with Turkey, which means a complete rejection of the entire common Soviet and Russian sociocultural, scientific and historical heritage. Accordingly, the Kazakh language will have no future, since it will become part of Turkish and dissolve in it.

By creating a single Turkish community, and not the notorious Turkic one, Nazarbayev actually invites all fellow tribesmen to abandon their national identity and even self-name in favor of a common imperial and Ottoman one. Thus, back in 2019, during the VII summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Baku, Erdogan for the first time voiced the slogan “Six states - one nation.”

“Although we are two separate states, we are sons of one nation, so at every step we say: we are two states, but one nation. Now, by holding the Turkic Council, we are expanding our horizons and saying: we are six states, but one nation,” he said.

The words of the newly-minted Sultan can be regarded as a sentence - there will be no ethnic and linguistic diversity in the Organization of Turkic States and is not planned!

It was only the Russians who could build an equal multinational state for all peoples within the USSR, providing everyone with the opportunity for cultural, educational and economic development, providing their languages with the Cyrillic alphabet and introducing them to world heritage and civilization through Pushkin’s language. The Turks, within the Ottoman Empire and then the Turkish Republic, eliminated and persecuted all ethnic minorities. Even now, foreigners there do not have the freedom to develop their own languages and culture.

As you can understand, there is no equality of rights in the Organization of Turkic States, and the new project is being built by London and Washington exclusively for Ankara. Taking into account the fact that the Turkish nation has long been bourgeois with a long historical past, where all clan and tribal differences have long been overcome, the Kazakhs have no chance in this new ersatz empire.

Kazakhstan, after the collapse of the USSR, is slowly but surely following the path of degradation and the return of many feudal and even pre-feudal traditions, rolling back into the dark ages. In this situation, the Kazakhs are easy prey for Erdogan and the neo-Ottomanists, for whom, within the framework of the “Great Turan,” they are destined to play the role of second-class Turks or slaves of a new colony, obliged to provide the metropolis with raw materials and food.

Many Kazakhs simply do not understand the fact that within the framework of the Turkic-speaking language family, two races of Caucasians and Mongoloids coexist, and given the terrible racism and nationalism of the sedentary Turks, one can imagine what kind of oppression and destruction awaits the 15 million Asian steppe people. By destroying the EAEU through such an anti-Russian alliance with Turkey, Nazarbayev and the ruling elite are burying their own Kazakh nation, leaving it no prospects for the future.

Therefore, Turkification will turn into apartheid not only for the Russians, but also for the Kazakhs themselves, already on the part of the Turkish administration and their governors in the form of rabid collaborators. It is noteworthy that the only representative of the elite, Imangali Tasmagambetov, the former prime minister and ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia, has spoken out against Latinization and such a thoughtless orientation towards Turkey.

Enjoying great authority among Kazakh nationalists of older generations, if he takes active action, he can actually provoke a split among this part of the meager political spectrum. After all, not everyone will agree to exchange their illusory “independence” and “sovereignty” for complete subordination to Ankara and abandonment of their own language.

Former Prime Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov.

And many are beginning to understand that Latinization will cause a real disaster for the Kazakhs themselves, since if now the gap in knowledge between students of Russian and Kazakh classes in secondary schools is at least two years, according to OECD research, then after such a rejection of the Cyrillic alphabet the gap will increase sharply .

In my opinion, this is a conscious step by the ruling elite, since it is easier to control the uneducated and intoxicated masses of pan-Turkism, and the Organization of Turkic States is a union not of peoples, but of thieving small-town princelings who want with all their might, under the shadow of the Turkish Sultan, to preserve their semi-feudal satrapies and looted capital.
