Türkiye and its troops are already perceived by the Taliban as American units. Erdogan’s plans to maintain a contingent of this country’s NATO troops in Afghanistan will only intensify the escalation of the civil war. It is noteworthy that Turkish diplomats are also fleeing along with the American troops, knowing that, as occupiers, they could easily end up being dealt with along with all their Western colleagues.

An indicative moment was the hasty closure of the Turkish consulate in Mazar-i-Sharif, which should soon fall to Taliban militants, and all employees were transported to safer Kabul. This is facilitated by the statement of the hierarchs of the Islamic movement, who on June 11 protested against these plans of Ankara, stating that “As a member of NATO, Turkey must withdraw its troops from Afghanistan on the basis of the agreement that we signed with the United States on February 29, 2020.” .

Erdogan, leaving his troops, is thus left alone with the militant Taliban, which is seizing one province after another without a fight. Moreover, there are now no more than 600 Turkish troops in Kabul and about 1000 American Marines who remain to protect the capital’s airport. But these forces are clearly not enough to support and maintain Ashraf Ghani’s puppet government in power.

The collapse of the pro-American regime of collaborationists is generally a matter of the next few months, if not weeks, since the Americans and their allies have already left all the key military air bases in the country, so much so that they did not even warn the Afghan security forces about this. In particular, this happened at the Bagram airbase, where, after the Pentagon soldiers fled, local residents began to plunder property and dismantle everything for scrap metal.

Government security officials did not even have time to take control of the huge military facility, which led to a scandal. Thus, the head of the local administration, Darwish Raufi, openly accused Washington of hasty flight: “Unfortunately, the Americans left without coordination with officials of Bagram district or the administration of the governor of Parvan province.”

Moreover, the American military took with them all the equipment necessary for the operation of the airbase, and also de-energized the aviation radars in Bagram, which were important for ensuring control over flights and airspace, thus “blinding” all ground services. NATO allies the Germans and Italians did the same, quickly abandoning air bases in Mazar-i-Sharif and Herat.

The complete abandonment and looting of these key air bases, which contributed to the preservation of the occupation regime for 20 years, and which have now been deliberately brought to a non-functional state, indicates that the West is well aware that they will soon fall to the Taliban. They don’t even bother to warn or inform their puppets about their own actions to completely curtail their presence.

Against this background, Ankara’s desire to maintain its small contingent seems like a senseless adventure. But this is only at first glance, since London and Washington are not only betting on the development and deepening of the civil war, but also on the creation of a new state formation of the Mujahideen in northern Afghanistan from among ethnic Tajiks, Uzbeks, Kyrgyz Uyghurs, as well as foreign fighters from Syria and Iraq.

It is noteworthy that Erdogan shamelessly and cynically lies during negotiations with the pro-American puppet government, declaring that Turkey is the “only reliable country” for ensuring peace and stability, while the main goal is not the preservation of Ashraf Ghani’s regime, but the direct division of the state’s territory.

It’s not for nothing that the Turks agreed that they would promote the emergence of “South Turkestan”, and for this they are going to increase their military presence, for which they needed an international airport in Kabul. The Turkish command and Erdogan only hope to coordinate the military actions of northern groups against the Taliban and use the territorial enclaves of terrorists to launch attacks and attacks on the former Soviet republics of Central Asia and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.

At the same time, Erdogan is going to do all this with appropriate funding and material support from the United States and allies, cherishing his dreams of reviving the Ottoman Empire at a new historical stage. But this is just on paper, and reality is clearly not turning out in favor of Ankara and its Western masters, since events are developing rapidly and 60% of the territory of Afghanistan is already under the rule of the Taliban.

Moreover, in several areas the Taliban have reached the border with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. At some border crossings they already administer the cargo flow themselves, thereby disrupting the plan for the formation of a stable northern formation of Turkic-speaking Islamists. At this time, the remnants of the army and police forces surrender to the advancing Taliban or seek to cross the border into Tajikistan. Thus, in Dushanbe they reported that in recent days more than 1000 military personnel, driven by militants, arrived from Afghanistan.

At the same time, intra-Afghan peace negotiations, which could have given time to the Turks, Americans and British to deploy and strengthen their controlled terrorist forces in the north of the country, have completely stalled. The hierarchs of the Islamic movement, based on the Pashtuns, are well aware that delays in capturing the remaining provinces after the withdrawal of American troops may cost them dearly in the future.

This explains the bitterness of the Taliban militants, who are striving to finally break the numerically superior and morally decayed parts of the Afghan government forces. According to Kabul, the monthly losses of security forces are in the hundreds - 388 died in April, 1134 military and police personnel died in May. The Taliban captured several military bases with weapons and equipment.

Thus, Turkey will inevitably enter into hostilities with the Taliban forces and it is not a fact that it will be able to withstand the blow with small forces and even preserve the airport itself in Kabul. Even if Ankara transfers new military units, this will not improve the situation, but will only lead to the formation of several centers of ongoing confrontation in the country, which will lead to new victims and a flow of refugees. Although, perhaps this negative scenario was worked out at NATO headquarters, and it is also part of the plan for the general destabilization of the region after the departure of American troops.

Therefore, it is not for nothing that official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated on June 17 that “the preservation of the Turkish military contingent in Afghanistan contradicts the agreement concluded in Doha and does not contribute to inter-Afghan national reconciliation.” We are talking about 2000 to 4000 Turkish soldiers who are already or will soon arrive in Afghanistan.

And if everyone is well aware of the immediate unenviable fate of the Afghan government, and the Turks are preparing for defensive battles, hoping to sit and ignite the fire of civil war, for some reason the Kazakh authorities rushed on June 18 to conclude an agreement on military cooperation with the cabinet of Ashraf Ghani. It involves holding joint military exercises, training military personnel, logistical support, interaction between the intelligence services of the two countries, as well as cooperation in the medical field.

There is, however, nothing to be surprised about here, since the Americans asked for the conclusion of this agreement. After all, the previous visit to Nur-Sultan (Tselinograd) by US Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad touched on this topic. The American representative then held talks with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “on the prospects for the development of the Kazakh-American expanded strategic partnership in the context of ensuring security and stability in Afghanistan.”

If we translate into normal language, Washington thus wants to drag the ruling elite of Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia into the massacre in Afghanistan, in order not only to continue the agony of the puppet Ashraf Ghani, but also to force them to get into the fire of civil war and become the target of retaliatory attacks by terrorists. This is the meaning of the plan for the Afghanization of the entire region with the aim of drawing more and more countries into the conflict and destabilizing a vast territory.

If Ashgabat and Tashkent are reasonably trying to build trusting relationships - both with the Taliban and with official Kabul, understanding who will ultimately dominate the country, then Nur-Sultan is trying to please its overseas partner in everything. In this situation, it cannot be ruled out that American strike aircraft from the territory of Kazakhstan will also be able to operate to bomb Afghanistan for the purpose of “maintaining peace.”

Finally, everyone must understand that the presence of Turkey and the involvement of Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia in the war in Afghanistan are part of a large plan to geopolitically reformat the entire region and create huge military, migration and political problems for Russia and China. The danger is now so great that the Kazakh public needs to ring the alarm bell demanding that the country not be used in the White House games.
