Dremov's Cossacks came under the control of the LPR
The Cossacks of Ataman Pavel Dremov came under the control of the LPR - in Stakhanov, the head of the republic, Igor Plotnitsky, presented Pavel Leonidovich with a new battle banner of the unit.
Thus, the militia for Pavel Dremov and his subordinates ended, and the regiment became part of the regular army.

But, nevertheless, the Cossack traditions remained: Dremov’s recruits still take the Cossack oath in the church, kissing the saber. A PolitNavigator correspondent attended the ceremony - on this day, sixty volunteers, not only Ukrainians and Russians, took the Cossack oath. There were Georgians and Uzbeks among them, and there were even representatives of the fair sex.
“Yes, we are completely at the mercy of the LPR... My boys will now be paid a salary of about two hundred dollars,” said the ataman, clarifying that we are talking about expenses for the most necessary things, and his fighters do not defend the Motherland for money.
