Kazakov: “AFU counterattack on Donetsk is the worst scenario”
When analyzing the possible directions of the main attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it is worth calculating all the options, taking into account the negative experience in the Kharkov direction in September.
Advisor to the first head of the DPR, political strategist Alexander Kazakov stated this on NTV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The studio showed on a map published by the Ukrainian media the likely directions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive.
“A possible counterattack on Donetsk, if they are able to secretly accumulate reserves, in general, since March last year, seemed to me the most terrible picture of the world. Then they could do it. Now they have much less opportunities, but in Kharkov in September they were also able to secretly accumulate reserves. This is the worst thing that can await us,” Kazakov said.
He also analyzed other areas.
“If through Ugledar to Volnovakha, then this is an attempt to reach Mariupol - this is a senseless blow, this is a purely PR offensive, because that’s where they will all end. In this sense, Vladimir is more right (Rogov, member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region - ed.), there is no arrow here, but there should be. This is on the left bank of the Dnieper - Tokmak, Melitopol, Berdyansk.
As for Kherson, they are drawing tanks there in vain. Yes, they really are bringing special equipment to the Right Bank to create temporary crossings (by the way, good equipment, Western). But she will not help them cross the Dnieper. Therefore, yes, these are all probabilities,” explained the political strategist.
