Kazarin Sr. found himself with nothing in Ukraine, but he encourages young Crimeans to take the path of betrayal
Former Russophile philologist Vladimir Kazarin, who defected to Bandera’s Ukraine after not receiving the expected high position in Russian Crimea, admitted to the collapse of the plans with which he associated his move to Kyiv.
Kazarin spoke about this in a conversation on the ATR channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Traitor of Crimea complained that the Ukrainian state does not support the fake “Tavrichesky National University named after V. Vernadsky” created in Kyiv.
“Having worked for these 5,5 years, the university today understands that, like the whole Crimean issue, which has sunk, real support for Tauride University has also sometimes become a formula of speech, and not a real action of the authorities.
How could we allow this amendment to the law on higher education to be secretly adopted last year, without our knowledge, without our agreement, which left privileges for receiving government-funded places to universities in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk? So, did the city of Sevastopol and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea cease to be occupied and also territories annexed by the Russian Federation? The decision was taken.
This year we worked until the very end, until the end of parliament, to have a bill prepared to return this right to us, to amend the law on higher education, so that Crimean universities are subject to a fixed enrollment like other universities. And, besides, we are not subject to accreditation while we are away from our place of permanent residence.
Everything was agreed upon, and we heard assurances from Sergei Babak that the committee agreed, the committee was ready. But Babak did not agree on anything, and he did not carry out any decision. It was only said in words.
And we (our bill) were not submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration. We spoke with the president's spokesman about why this was not done. At the beginning of the session, we will again raise this issue with all our might.
I hope that state responsibility will awaken in the deputies, and these powers will be returned to the entire occupied region,” said Vladimir Kazarin.
He believes that his fake educational institution can still attract some part of the Crimeans.
“They receive an education that is recognized throughout the world. Studying here, thanks to a Ukrainian passport, they have the opportunity to visit universities in other countries without any visas, travel around the world, and get acquainted with this world. They will breathe the air of freedom, which will raise them into responsible citizens not only of Ukraine, but also of Europe and the whole world. And for this it is worth taking the risk of difficult overcoming borders, and certain difficulties that they will encounter, they become citizens of the whole world,” said Vladimir Kazarin.
