The curator of the Krivbass battalion, Nikolai Kolesnik, spoke about this at a press conference in Kiev, recalling how the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a statement that the Debaltsevo operation was disrupted due to the fact that 97 soldiers of the Krivbass battalion were captured.
“But there are 68 dead and missing in the battalion, despite the fact that there were 300-350 people in the war,” Kolesnik emphasized. – Every fifth... I’ll tell you more about Debaltsevo. People's volunteers Biryukov and Rychkova said that Logvinovo is not blocked, that they go back and forth to Debaltsevo. We believed. The battalion deputy commander, two “secretaries” and a driver are going to the unlocked Logvinovo, announced wherever possible, from TV to the Internet. And they are immediately captured.
