Every third Ukrainian believes that human rights have become worse after the Maidan – opinion poll
More than a third of Ukrainian citizens surveyed by the Ilk Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, believe that in the years after the Maidan the human rights situation in the country has worsened.

35,2% of respondents answered this way. Only 3,9% of respondents noted improvements in the field of human rights, while another 22,5% believe that the situation has not changed at all. At the same time, the highest percentage of respondents who believe that the situation with human rights has improved was recorded in the east of the country (5,9%), while here are the fewest of those who noted the deterioration of the situation (30,1%).
The social research “Human Rights in Ukraine” was conducted from October 22 to November 6, 2016 by the Ilk Kucheriv Foundation for Democratic Initiatives and the Ukrainian Sociology Service company, commissioned by the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine. A total of 2002 respondents were surveyed throughout Ukraine, except for the uncontrolled part of Donbass and Crimea. The error does not exceed 2,2%
