Kedmi: The US is shelling Syria out of impotence
The American government will continue propaganda hysteria and provocations like the missile attack on Syria due to its powerlessness to influence anything in this country, but sooner or later Russia will be forced to give an adequate response.
About this on the air of the program “Right to Know!” Yakov Kedmi, the former head of the Israeli communications bureau “Nativ”, said on the TVC channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Any person, even not a psychology specialist, knows that when they talk a lot, shout a lot, show off a lot - this is from powerlessness. The Americans cannot do practically anything in Syria, but they need to be shown, and they are showing. Therefore, this option or the next one - if it is useless from a practical, military point of view and does not delay the liberation of Syrian territory by Assad’s troops for a minute, then they can talk as much as they want,” Kedmi said.
“Who remembers the hysteria about Aleppo? So what, where is Aleppo? The situation has not changed since then,” he added.
At the same time, Kedmi believes that American specialists, far from propaganda hysteria, continue the policy of provocations and take into account the rationality of the Russian president.
“That is, they know very well that while they provoke over trifles, in the “outskirts”, Russia may not react to this - they don’t react to every fly, they don’t even brush it off. But on the other hand, Russia wants to be a great power. Russia can be a great power. If Russia is not a great power, there will be no Russia. But being a great power requires you to behave accordingly. Therefore, if Russia really wants to behave like a great power and be one, it cannot tolerate such rudeness for a long time,” summed up Yakov Kedmi.
