Kerch said goodbye to fellow countryman - hero of the Northern Military District
In Kerch they said goodbye to Denis Mashits, a participant in the special military operation.
He entered the battle zone near Artyomovsk in March of this year, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Denis Mashits was born on September 16, 1990 in the hero city of Kerch,” said the head of the Kerch administration Svyatoslav Brusakov in his Telegram channel. – In 1997 I went to school No. 17 named after. Belik, he studied well. Then he studied at Naval School No. 12 to become a sailor. In 2008, he was drafted into the army, served in a mountain rescue battalion, and received the rank of sergeant. Afterwards he worked in a coastal fishing team, then worked in construction. I always enjoyed great respect from the people with whom I worked.”
The soldier was buried in a cemetery near the village of Kapkany.
