Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak told reporters in Moscow on Thursday, commenting on the results of a meeting on the development of the Crimean Federal District.
“The investor will be only the state, the investor will be the federal government, the Ministry of Transport, specifically Rosavtodor,” the official noted.
Foreign companies can also be contractors:
“Negotiations are currently underway with various Russian and foreign companies on the construction of this bridge,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
According to Dmitry Kozak, some Russian companies act in a consortium with Italian and Chinese companies.
The Federal Target Program for the Development of the KFO until 2020 allocates almost 247 billion rubles for the construction of a crossing through the Kerch Strait, Minister for Crimean Affairs Oleg Savelyev said at the meeting.
