Kernes argued with a deputy from Servant of the People over her hairstyle
Kharkov Mayor Gennady Kernes unusually introduced the newly elected deputy from the Servant of the People Maria Mezentseva during a session of the Kharkov City Council, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We give the floor to Maria Mezentseva... But she wants to “get on with it,” and that’s all. Well, you didn’t do your hair, you didn’t do anything...” said Kernes.
The representative of the presidential party objected that she always wears her hair and that it is “natural.” However, Kernes did not believe her.
“No, I saw your videos - a little differently,” said the mayor.
The deputy just smiled back at Krenes and began her speech.
During the session of the City Council, Mezentseva resigned as a deputy of the Kharkov City Council, as she was elected as a people's deputy from the Servant of the People party in the 168th single-mandate constituency. It is interesting that in her constituency she defeated a candidate who was personally supported by Gennady Kernes.
