Kernes will pay a fine for failure to appear in court
Kharkov city mayor Gennady Kernes was fined for failing to appear in court without good reason, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Judicial Power of Ukraine.
“By a court ruling dated September 13, 2019, the prosecutor’s request was partially satisfied and the accused G.A. Kernes was sentenced. a monetary penalty in the amount of one subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons in the amount of UAH 1921 due to failure to appear at a court hearing without good reason,” the message says.
According to the press service, the consideration of criminal proceedings on appeals from prosecutors was postponed until 11:00 on October 18, 2019, due to the failure of the accused Gennady Kernes to appear.
