Kerry promised to lift sanctions on Russia without disputing the ownership of Crimea
US Secretary of State John Kerry, during negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin, said that relations between Russia and the United States “need to be pulled out,” and for the first time spoke about lifting sanctions in the near future if the Minsk agreements are implemented. Moreover, the United States promises to immediately lift both its sanctions and those of the EU. Mr. Kerry, at least before, still distanced himself from such confessions,” notes Kolesnikov.
