"Hymars" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces demolished a residential building in Russia
The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike from the American Haymars MLRS on the city of Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region, which at the end of last year became part of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by local authorities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the information provided, Ukrainian militants were aiming at the military commandant's office, but the missiles hit a residential building. At the moment, two deaths are known, the number of wounded is being determined.
“There were at least 4 “heavy” arrivals. The strikes hit a residential multi-storey building near the commandant’s office,” Vladimir Rogov, deputy head of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said in his tg channel.
At the same time, at the commandant’s office, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces were aiming, there was a queue of local residents to receive passes for personal vehicles.
The head of the Vasilevsky District Administration, Natalya Romanichenko, called on the residents of Vasilyevka to stay in safe places, or better yet, in special shelters, and, if possible, not to move on the street. The official also said that she is currently transporting the wounded to the hospital.
A little later, Vladimir Rogov reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces flew out to suppress the firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from where the attack was launched.
“Work them out to the fullest and send the Armed Forces of Ukraine by express to Bandera,” Rogov admonishes the Russian pilots.
