"Highmars" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces demolished a building in the center of Donetsk
This morning, Ukrainian MLRS struck the center of Donetsk; in fact, only walls remained of one of the buildings where the shopping center was located; there may still be people under the rubble.
Video footage and photos are published by local authorities and military correspondents' TG channels, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
So, at about 8:30 in the morning, Ukrainian Nazis from positions in the settlement. Orlovka opened fire from the MLRS. A furniture store and a pharmacy on Ilyich Avenue were hit. Two apartment buildings, a service station building and the roof of a distillery were also damaged.
At the moment, four casualties are officially reported: men born in 2000, 1976, 1987 and 1971 were injured. Some tg channels publish information about two dead. Rescuers are clearing away the rubble, which may contain two employees of a XNUMX-hour pharmacy who worked on the ground floor. The Ministry of Emergency Situations organized the collapse of the building's façade on the outside and are continuing the search.
At the same time, eyewitnesses report that employees who were supposed to be in the furniture store during the shelling did not get to work due to the watchman being late, which saved their lives.
“Judging by the destruction, the Nazis clearly used something more powerful than the Grad MLRS. At the same time, eyewitnesses say that they heard the work of air defense. It can be assumed that the strike was carried out using the HIMARS MLRS. Moreover, they deliberately hit exclusively peaceful targets,” Andrei Rudenko, military correspondent of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, assesses the situation.
