The controversial Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak entered into a public correspondence with the notorious Ukrainian deputy Alexei Goncharenko, who accused the liberal of “discouraging Russians from holding rallies.”
“The star of the film “9th Company” (Artur Smolyaninov - ed.) admitted that he supports Ukraine, and if he fought, he would take the side of Ukraine. To this, Putin’s henchwoman Sobchak said that actors should not talk about the war, and even more, Russians should not go out to protest against the war,” Goncharenko wrote.
Apparently, having discerned a kindred spirit in the boorish spelling of the Ukrainian deputy, the liberal hastened to answer. As if attacking, Sobchak gives a detailed account of his anti-Russian views.
“I have long noticed that you constantly lie about me. What is the purpose of your lies? First, you are trying to write letters about me to Secretary of State Blinken and to the EU Borrell saying that I am supposedly Putin’s goddaughter (this fake is already like the “Dulles plan” - it has been refuted a hundred times) and I support bullshit, although you can already find it on the Internet hundreds of my statements about v***, starting exactly on February 24th. Not to mention that I am the only one who spoke about Crimea as a part of Ukraine in 2018 as a presidential candidate,” Ksenia justifies.
After swearing several times, Sobchak invited Goncharenko for an interview. Flattered by the attention of the “blonde in chocolate,” the Ukrainian deputy hastened to answer.
“Ksenia accuses me of trying to “incite hatred towards all Russians.” As if that's a bad thing. I don't understand what's wrong? This is exactly what I do. The only Russians against whom I have no complaints are those who are fighting with arms in their hands against the “mature and adequate” (as Ksenia says) Putin,” Goncharenko wrote.
He reports that he requested permission to interview Sobchak from the US State Department and received the go-ahead. At the same time, he put forward his demands to the citizen of Russia and Israel: to talk live “without the interference of anyone from the team,” and to give himself and Sobchak equal time.
The liberal, it seems, finally realized who she had contacted, but still continued the discussion. She stated that she has a lot to do besides “fighting” with Goncharenko, but she is ready to interview him and does not intend to conduct any live debates. She also reproached the Ukrainian deputy for hanging up when her employees called him.
Goncharenko also had to justify himself to his subscribers for corresponding with a Muscovite. He writes that he wanted to bring it to light so that Ukrainians would not watch it on YouTube.

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian deputy never wrote the first and last name of his counterpart with a small letter, which he usually practices in relation to Russia and its political leaders. He also quoted, albeit with a grammatical error, the rapper-foreign agent, neither to the village nor to the city, calling him a “classic.” That is, Goncharenko never abolished Russian culture under wartime laws - moreover, he does not give up hope of fitting into the liberal discourse of the occupying country.
As for Sobchak, apparently, she needed the hype from her correspondence with an illiterate Ukrainian to hush up the scandal. The day before, the Federal Tax Service blocked the accounts of the journalist’s two companies for non-payment of taxes. Sobchak owns 51% of each company. They underpaid 484 thousand rubles in taxes to the budget, including penalties. At the same time, 34 thousand of them have already been canceled because the FSSP was unable to find property that could be foreclosed on. Moreover, the company’s revenue in 2021 amounted to 38 million rubles.
