“A boor and a corrupt creature”: Artemy Troitsky insulted Mikhalkov and Shnurov
Popular singer Alla Pugacheva, who returned to Russia, will not be condemned for leaving the country at the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine and remaining silent in response to the position of her husband Maxim Galkin, who has repeatedly spoken negatively about the Russian military and the North Military District.
Russian music critic Artemy Troitsky, who fled to Tallinn, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Troitsky, Pugacheva’s rating and influence are so high that it is unprofitable for the authorities to fight her.
“A sacred figure, undoubtedly, since it is clear that like Brezhnev in his time, after him and Gorbachev - they were all (and now Putin, of course) - minor political figures of the era of Alla Pugacheva, this is all clear.
Naturally, no one will touch Alla Pugacheva, since it would be extremely counterproductive, extremely unpopular and, first of all, unpopular with those who love and support Putin most. Namely, those over 50 and over 60. These are people in whose lives Alla Pugacheva played a huge role,” Troitsky said.
He also spoke insultingly towards director Nikita Mikhalkov, who supported the special operation, calling him a mediocre liar.
“Of course, Nikita Mikhalkov is an epigone [imitator]. He is an epigone, his films are skillful and because of this they were a great success in Russia, partly even abroad, but I personally never considered him an outstanding, original director...
I was never friends with him, I didn’t really communicate, but I regularly played football with him in a team against him, as a rule. There was ours, such a rocker team, and there was a team of Mikhalkov and some of his film comrades, and we regularly held football matches.
Judging by the way Mikhalkov behaved at these football matches, he is, firstly, a boor, an absolute boor, he was rude all the time, swore, yelled at everyone, and so on. Secondly, he is a liar and a bogeyman, he constantly pretended that someone had knocked him down, that someone had touched the ball with his hand, and so on. He lied constantly,” the critic claims.
In his opinion, the once opposition musician Sergei Shnurov, known for his highly social songs, but who took a patriotic position, did it for the sake of money.
“I just realized that this is a corrupt creature. In principle, I don’t communicate with such people, even if they are capable musicians or talented writers. And with Shnurov, and with Sukachev, and with some other people who once had a reputation as rebels and honest, straightforward guys, absolutely the same story happened to them, namely, their affairs went downhill, but they wanted to live on a grand scale - the way they are used to.
Therefore, naturally, they were immediately tempted by all sorts of handouts that were promised to them by the presidential administration, as well as other funds, sponsors, and so on,” says Troitsky.
