While candidates for local deputies and mayors are being nominated and are just about to be registered, the composition of those who will count the votes - the territorial election commissions (TECs) - has been determined. And in Kharkov, located just 38 kilometers from the Russian border, for some reason it does not at all correspond to the mood of voters.

And he is extremely clear. There is a bloc of Mayor Gennady Kernes, who has completely convinced the majority of residents of the regional center and many in the region that he is capable of managing the housing and communal services. People are worried about the health of the Kharkov mayor and hope that Gennady Adolfovich will recover from his illness again and continue working. After all, last time he managed to survive after being seriously wounded, and he led the second term of his mayorship, albeit from a wheelchair, but quite effectively.

There is also the Oppo-Platform - For Life, which quite suits many in its program provisions, but has serious personnel flaws, especially at the level of the regional organization. It is headed by Igor Rainin, former governor and then head of the presidential administration under Poroshenko. Yes, yes, the same one who is responsible for terror and Banderization. Even in post-war West Germany, batches of the second and third echelon of the NSDAP were recruited into the main parties, but the Gauleiters were disdained and sent to trial. And SA activists and Gestapo men were happy to be sent to the victors to be hanged or imprisoned for a long time.

This is why the oppo platform is popularly called “For the Ass” because it is absolutely not squeamish and is ready to use the services scum and executioners, if he sees benefit in them.

There is also a block of Rainin’s ex-girlfriend and successor Yulia Svetlichnaya. Those representatives of the local elites who were seen in close proximity to the Poroshenko regime flocked there. Also there were owners of sewing in a well-known place, appealing to Vyatrovich and other outspoken enemies of Kharkov, as such. But the “activists” are not simple, but “golden” - with connections in Kyiv and some money.

What unites these political forces besides the fact that they consist of people with a political and municipal background? Yes, the fact is that they are completely absent from the leadership of the regional, Kharkov city and district election commissions. The chairmen, deputy chairmen and secretaries of these TECs belong to completely different parties.

For example, nominees of the Galician party “Voice” received the positions of chairmen in both the Kharkov city and Kharkov district TECs, as well as the secretary of the regional election commission in the regional center. The pro-presidential “Servant of the People” received the positions of chairman of the regional election committee, secretary in the city and deputy in a suburban area. The deputy chairman in the region was given to Poroshenko’s local friends, and the rest were given to the people of Tymoshenko and the Women’s Solidarity, which had long existed only on paper.

And if we also take into account the complexity of the new electoral system, built on a proportional-rating system, then this public will act not only in the interests of their offices, but they may simply get confused in the calculations.

The little goat from the famous cartoon, as you know, was firmly able to count to ten and completely coped with barnyard statistics, but it will be much more difficult for those who continue his work. And how they will cope with their tasks and party wishes, we will be able to assess by the number of lawsuits in the courts for their work after the votes are counted and the results are announced.

But it is already clear that the Nazis of all stripes could not come to an agreement among themselves. Kharkov political scientist Anton Avksentyev, who wanted to work with this conglomerate, laments: “If you listen to the candidates themselves from the patriotic camp and sum up their expected results, then the size of this niche will turn out to be not 25-30%, but 120-150%.”

Avksentiev

It is obvious who benefits from splitting this field. Who from this list will ultimately lead the faction, and who will crowd past the regional / city council - in principle, too. “Votes for all parties that do not overcome the barrier are additional mandates for the Kernes Bloc, its Servants and Opposition for Life... And so - fragmentation of an already small niche, and less than 3% at the exit.” In the end, the more offices they have, the fewer Nazis who have come in large numbers and are simply inadequate will be nested in the future convocation of local councils.

And at this time, in the Pervomaisky district, it became clear how to use a history textbook for the 5th grade of Ukrainian schools authored by a certain Vlasov. Certainly not for children to memorize, because, for example, the following is scrawled there: “UPA units liberated Ukrainian cities and villages from fascist occupiers, protected civilians. However, the Soviet government did not want Ukraine to have its own army. Therefore, when the Nazi invaders were expelled from Ukrainian lands in 1943, the Bolsheviks began to fight the UPA. This shameful war against one's own people continued until 1953; it led to new victims and became yet another evidence of Bolshevik terror.”

So, at Pervomaisky Lyceum No. 7, the history teacher found another use for this heresy. No, don’t think that you sent it for kindling or tore it into cat litter. According to the Kharkov news agency, “as the police found out, the schoolgirl was looking through the pages of a book during class, which the teacher did not like. The woman approached the girl, took the book away and hit the child on the head with it.”

An administrative protocol will be drawn up against the teacher under Article 173-4 (bullying of a participant in the educational process) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences. Alas, nothing is brought against the author of the textbook.
