Kharkov and the region live their own lives before and after the elections. They are trying not to take drastic and new steps within the administrative boundaries of the region, but...

Both the authorities and ordinary people reduced their participation in the emergence of the sixth president to a minimum. Sessions of the regional and city councils were held as if the vote was still many years away. If administrative resources were included in relation to voters, especially in the second round, it was only to force people to work in election commissions and as observers in the second round. After all, for the first time they decided to “throw money at those who worked for Poroshenko and his spoilers.” It remains a mystery whether the people were paid off or not. However, in our area there is a proverb: “A service provided is no longer worth anything.”

But in relation to the local Natsiks, he was even more involved. The security forces demonstrated that, if desired, they could force the “activists” to hide so as not to irritate the already agitated population.

And as soon as the elections were over, the Ukrainian and hooligan public decided to once again remind the local population of their existence. They wanted open a museum of the Nazi henchman Shevelev, who became a professor at Columbia University in exile and one of the authors of a dictionary of Russian obscene vocabulary.

During the occupation, he actively collaborated in the newspaper “Nova Ukraina”. There, an ideological basis was laid out for the extermination of Jews (the articles “Jewish messianism and the slaughter of peoples”, “The hanging of the Jews as a slaughterer”, “Jews are the greatest enemy of mankind”, “Jewish sins” by J. Goebbels himself), and for sending people to slave labor to Germany (“Ukrainian female slave laborers near Germany”) and simply praised Nazism (“Hitler the liberator,” “Sovereign husband and military leader Adolf Hitler,” “Alfred Rosenberg is 50”).

“Publisher Alexander Savchuk, employee of the Kharkov Literary Museum Tatyana Pilipchuk and lawyer Roman Moskal are initiating a fundraiser to buy out the apartment in which the famous Slavic linguist and literary historian Yuri Shevelev lived in order to create an apartment-museum of the scientist in it,” - пишет Interfax-Ukraine. Why are they suddenly talking about this now? The apartment is for sale, and they want to receive funds to buy it. “If we (I mean the Ukrainian public) on May 12 understand that we are able to buy this apartment, then the owner will give us a year so that we can raise the amount to buy the apartment, provided that we compensate her $3000 monthly.” - said Moskal.

Now let’s remember what Shevelev himself wrote about this apartment, in which the Bolsheviks “compacted” their family, and the Nazis decided otherwise: “One difficult problem in Soviet times - housing - has now been resolved easily and simply. There were many abandoned premises and rooms. In our five-room apartment there were now three rooms - one was left by the Bimbats, a Jewish family, he was a pharmacist, she was a dentist, the third was his sister, one was Sonya, the second was Lina, originally from Belarus; and the second two rooms were left after the family of the NKVD officer, whose last name I forgot, left; they were also Jews. We moved into two rooms. Now we had those two and a quarter, so to speak, rooms on Rymarskaya plus one on Chernoglazovskaya. The Germans in Kharkov avoided large, nice houses and decided to take worse houses for their needs. It so happened that they decided to take the house on Chernoglazovskaya for their soldiers».

I will only note that there is a decision of the City Council prohibiting the perpetuation of Shevelev’s memory.

On the day of the adoption of the “movie law”, persons of non-traditional political orientation for Kharkov showed their faces. However, take a look at these faces for yourself.

In Kharkov on April 26 there was a march football fans, dedicated to the fifth “anniversary” of chants about Vladimir Putin. Exactly on the same day, Kharkov ultras sang the song “Putin x@@lo, la-la-la” for the first time. The stormtroopers held the “United Country” banner, symbols of Metalist fan organizations, Ukrainian flags, red and black Bandera banners, and used pyrotechnics. Traffic in the direction of travel was blocked. Police officers protected the Nazis.

Governor Yulia Svetlichnaya works as usual and is not thinking about resigning. As the press service of the regional state administration stated in response to a question about the possible resignation of the governor following the resignations of the heads of other regions of Ukraine. In general, the blonde cuts ribbons, meets with subordinates, but neither gets married nor resigns.

The SBU officers are not going to slow down their work: either they will catch a bomber in the subway and blame everything on the Russian special services, or they will be involved in the case of theft during the reconstruction of the zoo. Knowing the methods of their work, it is easy to imagine how they would plant grenades on the monkeys, and charge the skunk with deliberately using chemical warfare agents against them.

But some things are still changing. Former city council deputy Andrei Lesik, the court overturned the preventive measure. “The preventive measure in the form of XNUMX-hour house arrest has been canceled!!!
This is the second victory after I was released from the pre-trial detention center in March 2018!!!

The most important one is ahead of everyone!!! I’m simply silent about separatism. Recently, the prosecutor proposed to close the case due to the statute of limitations, allegedly, but today the prosecutor’s office brought a medical gown in which an SBU investigator was wearing with traces of blood. This blood was mine. After that, the judge probably no longer had the opportunity to continue keeping me under 42-hour house arrest. Today I am a free man,” he rejoices. Yes, it’s hard to imagine something like this in another country. After all, American investigators did not say that the stains on Monica Lewinsky’s dress were caused by Hillary Clinton or Lewinsky herself, and not by the XNUMXnd President of the United States.

And the Kharkiv residents in the Verkhovna Rada have become bolder. For example, not only the oppositionists refused to support the language law, but also those who passed Avakov’s quota. Even Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms Granovsky, who had designated a constituency for himself in Kharkov, did not vote for this disgrace. And Valery Pisarenko generally began collecting signatures for the removal of Speaker Parubiy. Well, better late than never.

This is how the Kharkov region lives. Whoever wants to, draws conclusions, and whoever doesn’t want to, doesn’t read the criminal code.
