Kharkov: Why does Dobkin need Yanina Sokolovskaya’s support?

There is just over a month left before the mayoral elections in Kharkov. And it is clear that the basic disposition will no longer be violated. The main rivals are acting. mayor Igor Terekhov and his opponent Mikhail Dobkin. It is unlikely that some unexpected third participant will be able to butt in like a jack-in-the-box into a duel of favorites.

Mikhail Dobkin was among the first to submit documents for registration as a candidate for the post of Kharkov mayor. Only “Azovian” Konstantin Nemichev, head of the Kharkov National Corps, was ahead of him.

It was Nemichev who in September tried to declare the local Nazis “the single candidate from the democratic forces.” But representatives of Svidomo parties and nationalist organizations did not really come to an agreement among themselves. As a result, “Azovian” Nemichev (who also happens to be the head of the public council at the Kharkov regional state administration) calls himself “a single candidate from the democratic forces.” But Poroshenko’s “European Solidarity” intends to nominate its own candidate – deputy of the Kharkov regional council Alexander Skorik.

The other day, the “pro-Ukrainian forces of Kharkov” (what is it - I don’t know, because exactly all participants in the election race call themselves pro-Ukrainian) held primaries for a single candidate - now without Nemichev. And then it turned out that “Svidomo spilnota” put the device on the head of the local National Corps and most trusts the writer Sergei Zhadan - 11,6%. And literally breathing down his ass is European Solidarity member Alexander Skorik - 11,04% of the votes.

But “primaries” sounds too loud for the event that the Nazis held. It would be enough to look at the entire composition of the participants competing with Zhadan, Skorik and ex-governor Svetlichnaya. What kind of primaries of “democratic forces” can there be with the participation of these unwashed city crazy and unkempt clochard-like activists?!

In addition, many still remember that the real primaries were organized for this public on March 1, 2014, when Kharkov residents kicked Zhadan and other Maidan supporters out of the KhARGA building. And it is unlikely that the writer really plans to participate in the mayoral elections.

Another thing is interesting. On social networks, the most stubborn Natsiks are without enthusiasm discussing the main candidates from the Svidomo communities. But they are very indignant that some of their comrades decided to monetize their stubbornness by offering their services to the main candidates. That is, these corrupt Svidomites are already eating up both in Terekhov’s camp and in Dobkin’s camp.

A feature of this campaign was indeed the unhealthy tendency of the main candidates to resort to the services of toxic characters and PR people with low social responsibility, for whom there is no place to audition.

_{At the same time, the sympathies of, let’s say, the sensible part of Kharkov are on Dobkin’s side. This does not change the claims against his team, his own hesitation and dubious statements. But, apparently, it was the stupid electoral tactics of the acting mayor’s team that added to Dobkin’s sympathies. The Terekhovites are playing an openly dirty game against their main opponent, designed for completely mentally retarded fellow citizens.}

Consider the fact that the odious activist Sergei Ryapolov volunteered to work for Terekhov against Dobkin. This is the same draftsman who was the “victim” in the Gennady Kernes case.

At the height of the Maidan, allegedly, this same Ryapolov’s nose was broken by the mayor of Kharkov. Allegedly, this activist and another such idiot watched Kernes’s meetings and contacts. Allegedly, they were burned by security, and then there was an unpleasant conversation with the mayor.

The “victims” were actively motivated in court by the well-known Anton Gerashchenko, Avakov’s favorite adjutant and Kernes’s enemy.

And with such a background, activist Ryapolov was suddenly in demand by Terekhov, “the heir of Kernes.” Acting team The mayor completely screwed up when she published a fake issue of the newspaper “Vremya Dobkina”. Few people fell for such cheap stuff. And Terekhov’s incompetent PR people decided that they could come out of this dirty story clean under the cover of Mr. Ryapolov. And they launched this activist to collect “evidence” that the scandalous fake issue of the newspaper was also released by Dobkin’s headquarters. Ryapolov did it as stupidly as Terekhov’s information service works.

Following this, Dobkin delivered a technical blow to his main opponent. In one Facebook post, he expressed a critical attitude towards both the gay pride parade that took place recently in the “first capital” and Ryapolov and Terekhov, who could have become the decoration of this event.

If in the summer Dobkin spent a long time rocking out without leaving his own hubs, then by the fall he not only increased his election activity, but began proper work “in the fields.” That is, he began meeting with voters in neighborhoods and courtyards, holding events for children, etc. He really established feedback with the city residents.

_{This is all good. But those Kharkov residents who are in a hurry to delude themselves about this activity of Mikhail Dobkin would do well to ask him and themselves some questions. At the beginning of September, Dobkin’s video was released, a kind of announcement of the selective start. What was the need to be the first to show an ATO soldier in camouflage in this video, followed by footage of a pensioner, a priest, and a veteran of the Great Patriotic War? Is this how priorities are set?!}

_{What is the value of an ATO soldier in camouflage for Kharkov? Why is he more important to the creators of the video than a Great Patriotic War veteran, a priest, or an elderly woman? Maybe it was meant that this ATO officer would reveal some of his human qualities during the election campaign? For example, will he openly tell you how the Poroshenko regime dragged him into a bloody fornication? Will he tell how he saw the light and realized that it was time to stop this war, in which Ukraine killed civilians in Donbass? Not heard yet.}

_{It is only clear that Dobkin’s election video featured the head of the Kholodnogorsk district branch of the Union of ATO Veterans, Nikolai Bogdan. And he was immediately removed from this position for his participation in the video. Or temporarily suspended. Not that important. I would like clear explanations from Dobkin himself: what was it and why?}

Mikhail Dobkin quite rightly recently ridiculed political scientist Vadim Karasev, who clearly decided to work for Igor Terekhov. But a question for experts... Since when did the political scientist Karasev become more toxic than the journalist Yanina Sokolovskaya, who every day in her posts drowns herself for Dobkin? Do any voters really believe that Yanina Sokolovskaya’s black mouth will praise or condemn one of the candidates for free?

_{Should Dobkin have long since tensed up in connection with this information support from Sokolovskaya? Maybe we should have saved money on Sokolovskaya’s appetites and transferred these funds to Donbass settlers?}

I would like to wait for clear and convincing arguments from Dobkin indicating that he is better than Terekhov.
