The local resource “City X” writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Thus, dissatisfied citizens are planning a picket of the local water utility. Kharkiv residents are outraged by the plans of the local authorities to increase tariffs for housing and communal services from 2018, since the next increase came into force on July 30, 2017.

Kharkovvodokanal has already published projected tariffs for 2018. If they come into force and begin to operate, water supply will rise in price by 92%, and sanitation by 47%,” the article says.
