“Today at about 11:30, utility workers painted over the patriotic drawings on the chest of the statue of the Liberator Warrior with dark green paint. Then the flag of Ukraine was tied around the neck of the sculpture,” the message says.
Nationalists also expressed outrage at the fact that utility company leaders refused to introduce themselves to the nationalist activists filming the event and give comments about what happened.
Let us remind you that on the morning of August 23, on the day of the national flag of Ukraine, activists of the nationalist organization “Hromadska Varta. Kharkiv" desecrated the monument by painting its chest with blue and yellow paint.
