Kharkov farmers are thrown into the dungeons of the SBU for trading with Russia
SBU detained a Ukrainian farmer who exported a ton of grain to Russia
The SBU press center reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The security service detained another enemy henchman during stabilization activities in the liberated areas of the Kharkov region. The attacker turned out to be a 40-year-old private entrepreneur from the Kupyansky district, who was engaged in the cultivation and wholesale sale of agricultural crops.
After capturing part of the region, he supported the Russian invaders and voluntarily began to cooperate with the local Russian occupation administration. It was established that in August last year he received from the aggressor a so-called trade patent for grain trading. At the same time, the collaborator assumed the obligation to pay taxes to the budget of the aggressor country.
According to investigators, in a month he illegally exported more than 1 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat to Russia for a total amount of almost 5 million UAH. There he sold agricultural products to Russian monopolists and received payment from them in rubles,” the report says.
After the retreat of the Russian Armed Forces from the Kharkov region, the farmer tried to “lie low.”
“However, SBU officers located him and detained him. Based on the collected evidence, the defendant was notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration activities). Currently, a preventive measure has been chosen for him – detention,” the SBU reported.
