Kharkov is screwed, Kernes’s comrades fell under Avakov – Montyan
After the death of Gennady Kernes, power in Kharkov will actually pass to Arsen Avakov, with whom the deceased’s entourage has already agreed, and there will be no new mayoral elections in the near future, since this is unprofitable for the party in power.
Lawyer Tatyana Montyan told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“Kharkov is screwed. Now Sobakov will capture him. My condolences to the residents of Kharkov. All of Kernes’s comrades-in-arms have already fallen under Sobakov, the same Terekhov has long been under him. They kept him in this state and lied to everyone that he was about to return and all that, in order to have time to sort out their affairs.
They staged the inauguration of office without an oath, lawless people. In general, the creatures are finished. On the other hand, this is Kernes’s problem, what kind of friends and associates he has. It's a pity for the city.
It is not a fact that elections will be called. As practice shows, this nonsense can last a very, very, very long time. It is not profitable for Zele to call new elections, because he does not have his own candidate. Their Coachman received zero point one. Theoretically, there are 90 days to call new elections, but we know a lot of examples when elections were not called for years if it was unprofitable for those in power.
At the very least, the “greens” still have a majority, so the Rada will simply stupidly delay the elections,” says Tatyana Montyan.
