Kiev political analyst Dmitry Dzhangirov writes about this in his blog, according to whom, in the situation with the Minsk process, there is a game going on around Ukraine in which “its new “big brother” asks to observe at least the appearance of the rules of the game.”

The Americans today were happy with any “fifty letter”, but patriotic deputies, on instructions from You-Know-Who, thwarted Washington’s insidious plans... (this is irony! A note for the alternatively gifted). Obviously, this result was known in advance in the Kremlin (this is not irony! A note for people with an excessive sense of humor), where they stated in the morning that the upcoming negotiations between Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov and US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volcker were not aimed at for a specific result, this will be a “synchronization of watches,” said the Russian leader’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov,” the expert points out.
In his opinion, for the meeting with Surkov, Volker hoped to have in his hands such a trump card as the law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, “at least extending the inactive (!) Law on a special procedure for the implementation of self-government in ORDLO.”
“But fuck you, Herr Volker! Pyotr Alekseevich has a restless night ahead... In the morning he will scream and make excuses in English,” Dzhangirov wrote.
