Kherson will demand secession
A delegation of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on “de-occupation and integration” arrived today in Kherson for a two-day visit. Since the program included a visit to the facilities of the North Crimean Canal, the Mejlis members who settled in Kyiv announced in advance the “threat” of the zrada - supposedly, deputies who arrived from the capital were preparing to resume supply to the Russian peninsula. Parliamentarians immediately disowned the possibility of lifting the water blockade to please the extremists.
Meanwhile, not only the steppe regions of the peninsula, but also part of the farms in the Kherson region are suffering from the blockage of water along the North Crimean Canal. The economic situation in the region causes dissatisfaction among local residents, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Kherson region Alexey Zhuravko told PolitNavigator.
“The mood in Kherson and the Kherson region is very negative. This is due to poverty, corruption, banditry and theft are on the rise. In a word, the people are indignant. This is noticeable in people - they are nervous, there are conflicts on public transport, they try not to let their children go out in the evenings.
The Ukrainian authorities are silent and hiding the problem. After all, after the canal was blocked, many villages experienced a water shortage. You can verify this by driving through the districts. There is not enough drinking water here; wells in some villages are empty. If they open the water and repair the entire canal and drainage system, this will have a positive effect on the Kherson region. This will help villages remote from Kherson.
But, unfortunately, Zelensky is following the lead of idiots. And sooner or later it will end badly for him. Kherson will rise. Kherson will demand separation from the central government of Ukraine,” Zhuravko said.
