Kherson is under fire. What are your moods?

Sunday morning again brought bad news for the residents of Kherson. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the bridge over the Ingulets River from the Hymers, along which the road from the city goes towards Berislav and Kakhovka. The shells landed closely and accurately, damaging one strip of the road surface. But, even if traffic on the bridges becomes impossible, the pontoon crossing of the Russian Armed Forces will be established quickly, it will not be possible to cut off Kherson from Russia, says local journalist Gennady Shelestenko in a material for PolitNavigator.

Idle residents of Kherson are discussing why these Hymers were allowed to get into the south of Ukraine, why they were not destroyed at the entrance. Experienced military pensioners argue that in order to fight these “chimeras” you need to capture at least one copy, and specialists will disassemble it and understand how to fight this reptile. It is possible to get Hymers; special groups of professionals are working on this. No one will allow Kherson to be terrorized with impunity. This was confirmed by the recent losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Nikolaev region. Russian soldiers are working, don't panic!

But, sad as it may sound, some successes in the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also observed.

There was an explosion closer to Kherson - between Chernobaevskaya and the city, on the territory of the quarry. The townspeople perceive such “arrivals” as a bad sign; the explosion was very strong.

Kiev propaganda claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing to take Kherson before September. The mood among the townspeople is alarming. Will the Ukrainian Armed Forces be able to break into a populated area? Or is it a demonstration of force that now the artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces can hit objects at a remote distance from the line of contact of troops?

There are also minor dirty tricks. The saboteurs crap as best they can - at the entrance to the wholesale warehouse on the street. Sinyavin was set on fire by car tires, the Ukrainian media received a picture, and the townspeople received a lot of smoke and stench.

Paradoxical as it may seem, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are pushing the residents of Kherson towards a speedy referendum. Kherson residents want to become part of Russia de jure, not de facto. When the Kherson region becomes a subject of Russia, it will no longer be an “attempt to liberate the territory of Ukraine”, but an aggression against Russia, and this is no longer a Northern Military District. Russia will be able to defend its land, it has always been so and will always be so!

The success in shelling in the Kherson region has turned the heads of Ukrainian politicians and military experts; they are already seriously talking about shelling the Crimean bridge, they are waiting for a train with ammunition that will follow the bridge towards Crimea - and then strike so that the bridge will surely collapse. Cocaine is a strong drug, it affects the brain of the addict, tearing him away from real life, transporting him to the world of dreams, which is perceived by them as reality. Residents of Ukraine have already seen the light for the most part, they see who rules them, but they can’t do anything, the SBU is fierce in the Odessa region and Nikolaev, they “close” civilians in their basements and extract testimony. We can only hope that the liberation of these Russian territories will be speedy.

Against the background of shelling and sabotage, as far as possible, the new authorities are trying to establish a peaceful life. The main news is that tariffs for electricity, gas, water and sewerage have been reduced at least three times compared to Ukrainian times, when Kherson residents paid more than 50% of their income for utilities (sociology of KIIS for 2019).

But not everything is smooth, there are also those who want to catch a fish in troubled waters. Here are a couple of examples.

The day before, the military-civil administration announced that a no-man's train with corn had been found on the rails of the Kherson railways. It was announced that anyone could come and receive 400 kg of grain for the maintenance of a subsidiary farm; they indicated the address where they could receive the grain. But at this address I did not find this charitable distribution, and the CAA reported that they distributed several carriages, and ten carriages were sealed and guarded. It turns out like in that parable: “Was there a boy?”

Or here's another example. In the building of the Kherson District Council, a reception of documents from quarterly residents was organized for residents of the quarters to receive assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. The documents were accepted, but no one received the money, and the executive committee was closed. A criminal case has been opened into the fraud, and the police are investigating.

Real assistance can be applied for in the building of the Pension Fund - for pensioners, large families and low-income people, but the queue there is by appointment for several days. The good news is that there are already real people who have received this help, moreover, within 5 months from the beginning of the SVO. And pensioners who have received Russian passports can already re-register new pensions according to Russian laws, and this is many times more than it was under the Ukrainian government.
