Kherson region: The population is in poverty, the Maidan activists in power are fattening
The mayor of a provincial town near Kherson, who came in the wake of the Maidan, took advantage of his official position to enrich himself and took money directly from the city budget, without even bothering with any business schemes.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Aleksey Zhuravko published the corresponding video on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The famous folk saying “Know your limits!” useful at all times and under any power. But, unfortunately, there is a thoughtless government in Ukraine, which, losing its sense of proportion, loses its conscience, and with it the support of voters, and then freedom.
The short video we offer you shows the mayor of the small town of Oleshki (Tsyurupinsk) Dmitry Voronov, which is near Kherson. The dude, as the Americans say, was clearly blown away. Why? But because his “stomach” suddenly lost its size,” the former people’s deputy presented the video.
Zhuravko commented on the content of the story, entitled “The thief was brought to the position of mayor of Oleshka by the Maidan.”
“Look, in 2018 alone, the size of his property, from the starting 68,5 sq.m., grew by another 104,8 sq.m. in the form of a garage-bath, then, in the same year, grew by another 18,6 sq.m. m in the form of an extension, and then in the form of two terraces measuring 29,8 sq.m. and 21 sq.m., and then also a barn with an area of 31,3 sq.m. This turned out to be not enough, and the thrifty mayor built a pond in his yard. He personally has a foreign car in the form of a KIA Sorento 2012, and his wife a Hyundai 2011, and this is in a poor regional center, where everything that was created by me when I was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and gave people work was destroyed.
Not bad, right?! But if he or his wife somewhere, in some kind of “business”, had earned all this at a feast during the plague. But no! It’s just that the state audit service revealed that 10,6 million UAH were stolen from the budget of the city of Oleshka. So why shouldn’t the owner eat at this feast?
And for some reason, it is not yet visible that the crater with bars will take ex-mayor Dmitry Voronov to prison. While he continues to rule the provincial regional center. This suggests that he “correctly keeps his nose to the wind”, has found the “current” and in time makes “dibs” to the one who could stop him in the crimes he is committing, but does not do this, since he “steals decently” and “ shares on time,” Zhuravko commented.
“Here is a picture of the real Ukrainian reality, which shows how the government is degrading and the people are impoverished, under the cover of the Americans. So, please, look and think how much longer you, dear fellow countrymen, will endure in such a country of victorious Banderaism and rampant primitive lawlessness.
I am not silent about this, hoping that you will tell others the truth about what the government is doing today to the people it oppresses. There are NO police, prosecutors, security services, other authorities and regulatory bodies! They are all in shares! These are vermin and jackals eating the body of my people! Don't be silent, people! At least shout that this hurts you!” – the ex-people’s deputy called on the Ukrainians.
