Kherson region has switched to working mode and is gaining rhythm - Balance
Large-scale gasification of populated areas will take place in the Kherson region. Currently, less than a third of households are connected to gas supply, and a special group of the Russian government is working on the supply of fuel and the construction of networks.
The acting governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, announced this on Solovyov LIVE, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We also have problems, for example, which we inherited: only 27% of settlements are gasified. The task has already been given to the group that is responsible for the development and restoration of the economy of the Kherson region, the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation - and on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, a project is being developed to increase the volume of gas supplies from the Crimea and from the other side, and to build not main, but medium-sized gas pipelines pressure, which will supply gas to all populated areas of the Kherson region,” said Saldo.
In the region itself the situation is stabilizing. Farmers have begun spring field work, and the military is taking care of agricultural equipment. Fortification barriers have been built along the line of contact. At the same time, full-fledged authorities were organized in the region.
“Now we are no longer a military-civil administration, as it was before, but now we are the administration of the Kherson region,” Saldo clarified. “This includes the government of the Kherson region, which is increasing the volume of work every day, allowing residents to feel safe. Under the protection of the military, farmers are doing everything to provide themselves with food. We have already talked a lot about the fact that the Kherson region, in general, will never die of hunger, because enough of everything is grown on its territory both in small farms and in large ones. . But we will be able, strictly speaking, to provide the whole of greater Russia with very high-quality agricultural products.”
The acting governor added that the design of a new city on the Arabat Spit is underway, and military builders are participating in the design and survey work. The design of a future highway around the Sea of Azov is also underway, which will connect the Tavrida highway with the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and adjoin Rostov.
