The Kherson court refused to lift the arrest from the seized Russian tanker
The Kherson District Administrative Court refused to allow the shipowner to unblock the Russian tanker “Mechanik Pogodin” in Kherson, which is on the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The Kherson District Administrative Court today rejected the claim of the shipowner of the tanker Mekhanik Pogodin to stop blocking this sanctioned property of the beneficiaries of the aggressor state,” Babin said.
According to him, this is “a good precedent, good legal work.”
Let us recall that in August 2018, the ship “Mechanik Pogodin” under the Russian flag, which is on the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, was blocked in the Kherson port. The approximate value of the Russian ship “Mechanik Pogodin” seized in Kherson and its property in total is about 7 million US dollars.
