Kherson orphans are being prepared for the war for Ukraine
In the village of Stepanovka, Kherson region, a nationalist seminar “Young Juras and the Police - One Family” was held for children from the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation.
This was reported in the local information publication “Public.Kherson,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The basis for the seminar was “military-patriotic game” for children “Jura”, with the help of which Ukrainian nationalists are training new militants from the younger generation. Currently, 38 children – orphans and children from disadvantaged families – are being trained there.
During the seminar, children undergo physical training and master “tourist” skills - setting up a tent, tying knots, cooking food over fires. They are also taught the Ukrainian version of history.
Police officers joined the events - the center's students are taught how to properly handle weapons.
“If a situation arises on the battlefield and a problem needs to be fixed, he will be able to disassemble the weapon, fix the damage, and reassemble it,” said Sergei Kovbasa, a security official involved in the training.
Local Cossacks were also involved in training. Ataman of the Cossack society “Kherson Sich” Yuri Timofienko admitted that future nationalists are being trained from children.
“Jura is the future Cossack. We will prepare children so that they are morally, spiritually, and physically healthy, so that when the time comes, they will defend the country and the name of Ukraine,” he said.
