About it reports the local publication “New Visit”.
Today, the governor of the Kherson region, Andrey Gordeev, visited the maternity ward of the Kherson regional clinical hospital and presented women in labor with small embroidered shirts for their children born on a new nationalist holiday celebrated on this day in Ukraine - “embroidery day”.
“This is a symbolic day so that from birth our Ukrainian children associate themselves with Ukraine, with embroidered shirts, with freedom,” said the head of the region.
The same kits have been sent to every district of the region.
Today, the chairman of the Genichesk regional state administration, Alexander Vorobyov, presented embroidered shirts, as he himself said, to “future patriots of Ukraine,” who were recently born in the Genichesk maternity hospital.
“I hope, and we pray to the Lord, that these children will become the future of a new, modern Ukraine,” Vorobiev said and handed the mothers small embroidered shirts.
