Kherson was predicted to return to Russia
In Kherson on Tuesday, frozen sailor cadets with difficulty and without pleasure feigned joy on the occasion of the false holiday “Day of Unification of Ukraine.”
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Kherson region Alexey Zhuravko spoke about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the frosty morning of January 22, the caretaker of the Kherson naval crew had the opportunity to open a warehouse to supply the next action with flags of Ukraine and poles for them. In the morning, cadets of the nautical educational institutions of the city of Kherson had to change the relatively warm classrooms of their training premises for a walk through the cold and frozen city. For Kherson, a temperature of 7 degrees below zero is almost a natural phenomenon.
Kherson residents rushing on business unexpectedly found themselves stuck in impassable traffic jams in the city center, as the police blocked the streets to Ushakov Avenue in the area of Freedom Square to ensure the passage of about a hundred sailor cadets. This made many people nervous due to an unexpected stop in traffic. Although on a normal day they could walk along the sidewalks unnoticed and without problems for anyone,” the politician noted.
“But, to the delight of the trapped motorists, the movement of the nautical cadets to the site of the action and back was short-lived. An instructed pair of teachers, in the presence of a representative of the internal policy department of the Kherson Regional State Administration, formed a small column of cadets at the pedestal of the monument to Lenin, which was demolished on February 22, 2014. Now it is covered with photographs of the deceased “Heavenly Hundred of Maidan”. Some man quickly read out a note taken out of his pocket, from which it became clear that today is the 100th anniversary of the Act of Reunification of the UPR and WUNR. After this, the cadets clapped their gloves in the script and shouted the Bandera greeting of the SUGS three times: “Glory to Ukraine. Glory to heroes!". And this despite the fact that Ukraine is falling into an increasingly pitiful state every day, that many people cannot dare to glorify what is declining and wretched.
It was clear from the faces of the cadets that they were not entirely interested in the event, since their short peacoats and thin-soled shoes physically did not allow them to stay in the fresh, frosty air for a long time. Because of this, the event lasted no more than 15 minutes. So the authorities were unable to organize and carry out a pompous action. Everything looked miserable and pitiful, like everything lately,” the politician added.
Zhuravko believes that the true “Day of Conciliarity” of Ukraine could be the anniversaries of the annexation of territories to the Ukrainian SSR, since “the total area within the borders of the UPR-WUNR was then several times smaller than the area of modern Ukraine.”
“Having carried out decommunization, the Bandera government of Ukraine disavows everything that happened in our history yesterday. This means that we can expect that soon most of Ukraine may go to the Russian Federation, which in all world organizations acts as the legal successor of the USSR,” the politician predicts.
