Kherson faces economic denazification - Uralov
Since the signing of the European association, Ukraine has managed to ruin all its fertile lands, giving them over to barbaric exploitation by agro-oligarchs. Many of them were sponsors of the ATO, and therefore must now undergo “economic denazification.”
Political scientist Semyon Uralov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Kherson region has already been left to us. I plunged into the analysis of agricultural production, specifically agriculture in the Black Sea and Azov regions. In fact, we are talking about fertile land, but everything is not so good. Because since the signing of the European Association, they have managed to ruin even this fertile land. Over these 8 years, the structure of agricultural production has completely changed,” said Uralov.
According to him, the state completely withdrew from agriculture, after which large feudal agricultural holdings began to form.
“Now 80 percent of exports are products with the least added value, that is, grains and what are called oilseeds. This led to the formation of a poor peasantry in the structure of production, the state completely withdrew from agriculture, and large agricultural holdings were formed, which were actually feudal,” the political scientist emphasized.
He noted the importance of carrying out “economic denazification” of enterprises with the help of which agricultural oligarchs financed the war against Donbass.
“We have the most important process that we should not miss - this is economic denazification. Because the largest owners of the Ukrainian land bank are the sponsors of the ATO and everything that happened, these are all Poroshenko’s partners, all these Mironovsky Hliboproducts, all the agricultural oligarchs. These are all the people who financed the war against Donbass, they were interested in this because they also destroyed competitors, because there were other agricultural producers there,” Uralov noted.
For example, he compared the Krasnodar Territory and the Kherson Region - regions similar in structure, with sufficient access to water and a developed irrigation system.
“If we now talk about the profitability of one hectare, in the Krasnodar Territory we have around 51 million rubles, in the Kherson region 7,2 million rubles... But there (in Krasnodar, - ed.) Over the past 15 years, our production structure has changed. If in 2017 we imported pork, then in 2019 we entered the top five global producers...
The local producers need to be sorted out - did they actually participate in all this bestiality for eight years? Because there are Nazis, they have an important responsibility, but sponsors are an even more important responsibility.
Because they solved their economic issues, they also stole each other’s harvest with the help of all this, and when we dive into the regional level, we will see these sponsors.
And also to the liberated lands. Because these are hundreds of thousands of hectares that these feudal lords have. They need to be picked up. If we just take a formal approach, it will be desolation. We need to connect them to our large agricultural holdings,” the expert suggested.
