“The cost of bread will rise quite significantly. Significantly - this is not the 20-22% that was last year and 25% the year before. But we will most likely see 15-17%. It is already difficult to see the difference in the increase in the price of the cheapest bread and average-priced bread. It’s hard to say that this is “social bread”. Bread in Ukraine costs 20-30% more than in Western European countries. Bread in Hungary and Romania is already cheaper than in our country. The growth will occur against the backdrop of the fact that the cost of grain will gradually increase. And the cost of bread will also rise,” Doroshenko said.
