The “bread truce” did not work out: numbers and facts

Proof of this are the dry statistical figures on the results of compliance by the Ukrainian side with the “Bread Truce”, presented today at a briefing by the Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The DPR armed forces strictly observe the ceasefire. We hope that the Ukrainian side will still fulfill its part of the agreements during the “school truce”. Unfortunately, all previous agreements to comply with the “silence” regime were thwarted by the Ukrainian military command.
During the “grain truce” period alone, from June 24, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 20 rockets, 900 artillery shells of 152 and 122 mm caliber, and more than 8 mines of 000 and 120 mm caliber into the territory of the Republic of Ukraine. As a result of these attacks, 82 houses were destroyed and damaged. 161 civilians and 5 DPR defenders were killed, 26 civilians and 21 military personnel were wounded. The above dry statistics are clear proof of how the military-political leadership keeps its promises!” - said Basurin.
