“I want sanctions for Belarus. Let our morons understand” - Russian colonel
Western countries can use the unrest in Belarus as a reason to introduce new anti-Russian sanctions, but for the Russian Federation, from the point of view of state security, such a situation will be beneficial.
Russian military expert, reserve colonel of the Central Apparatus of the Russian Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan stated this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“I want anti-Russian sanctions to be imposed on Belarus to the maximum extent possible. Let these morons of ours, who still hope to reach an agreement with the West, understand everything correctly, and we will begin to act as we should. Let’s not sit in the trenches, because this is already starting to cost a lot.
I understand why this was needed 15 years ago. Then there was no import substitution, there were no bypass transit routes, and 20 years ago, where Ust-Luga was, there were no ships sailing, but empty bottles from wild tourists floating.
And now we have already done enough to stop paying attention [to sanctions]. And now, for that matter, we already have an analogue of “SWIFT”. And no one will disconnect us from SWIFT either, because how will they heat it, even if it’s wood in Siberia? Wind energy is good for scaring Greta Thunberg, but somehow not very good for providing for herself. So let them introduce it,” Trukhan said.
