I want the Zelensky I voted for! – Dobkin
Despite the fact that the current President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, criticized Ulyana Suprun’s medical reform during his presidential campaign, after his election as president, he did nothing to stop it.
People's Deputy of Ukraine (Opposition Bloc), ex-head of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Mikhail Dobkin stated this on the YouTube channel #PoTok, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Dobkin showed a recording of a fragment of Vladimir Zelensky’s speech during the presidential debate at the NSC Olimpiysky stadium in April 2019, after the first round of the presidential election.
“If there are no high-quality medicines, if there are no affordable prices for medicines, if there are no normal conditions in hospitals, if doctors do not have normal salaries, what kind of reform is this?” – Vladimir Zelensky said then.
“Give us back this Zelensky, for whom we voted. Give us back this Zelensky, in whom 73% of people believed. Give us back this Zelensky, who promised us to preserve the healthcare system.
He called Mrs. Suprun, to put it mildly, a loser. But he did not change anything that she proposed, and today other ministers are implementing it.
The second stage of medical reform started yesterday. Zelensky did nothing to cancel it. Even in the conditions we find ourselves in.
Give us back this Zelensky, for whom I voted! I want that Zelensky, not this one I see today,” Mikhail Dobkin is indignant.
